Hello.

I'm started this website because when I was first getting started in DCC, I was soo confused, and so lost in the world of DCC. So, I started a community based DCCWiki that allows everyone, those just starting out to well expericenced, interested in DCC to participate, share information, and learn from each other.

This website started as a series of notes, hints to myself, etc. One day I figured I might as well share my notes, and let others help me! :-)

My goal is to have DCC topics in general, with seperate pages for each vendor and their products. Along with end-user written howtos, tips, tricks, etc.

This is an open source website that allows anyone to read, add, or edit pages. I'm trying to get DCC information out and in a way that is easily maintainable. I hope to get more people interested in DCC and start using more DCC products; vs DC (analog).

The website has been growing rapdily since it started at the end of October, 2005.

Maybe I should say what I'm not working on...the list would be shorter.  :-)

I'm working on:

• Generating new content
• Maintaining category links
• DCCWiki <--> Community Portal user login syncronization
• Applying wiki formatting to content people post that are new to Wiki
• Taking over the world one page at a time....LOL
• Generating various templates - navigation, userboxes, etc (see the firefox/english box below)
• Promoting this site so that people can find it!
  • Should lead to better understand of DCC topis as well as more topics created, as well as expansion/depth of current topics.

It's just getting started. Actually, I'm fairly knew to DCC and model railroading by some standards (months vs years). I read as much as I can about DCC and try to regurgitate it here.
