DCCWiki:Welcome Front Page
The DCCWiki allows Model Railroaders to share their knowledge of Digital Command Control with fellow Model Railroaders.
Within you will find information on:
- Starter Systems
- Command Stations
- Decoder Installations
- Digital Command Control Wiring Practices
and other topics.
The DCCWiki also has information on the new Layout Command Control (LCC) Standard from the NMRA. Learn about how this new technology can enhance your layout with signalling, accessory control, and other features.
- Clicking on the tabs above provides even more links to Digital Command Control topics.
The DCCWiki is collaboratively authored and edited by its readers, so even you can author or update articles.
The DCCWiki welcomes individuals to create content regarding ESU, Digitrax, Lenz, NCE, Soundtraxx and other Digital Command Control products. Share how you installed that new decoder in a locomotive, and solved the issues encountered during the installation and programming process.
If you wish to contribute to DCC Wiki, but are unsure where to start, there is a Wiki quick start guide.
If you want a slightly more detailed but still brief explanation, read the tutorial about this Wiki.
Everyone is welcome to contribute!
Why Can't I Edit?
To eliminate bogus users creating articles which are really commercial advertisements (spam) or vandalizing the site’s content, a DCCWiki account is required to create pages, articles, or upload files.
- Registration is free. It is a simple process which will take a minute or two. We hope this will eliminate the creation of unrelated content on the DCCWiki.
If you do not have an account, click the Request Account link, and complete the application to create one. Once your account has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an email with a link to validate your account.
After your account has been validated you will have full access to many of the features of The DCC Wiki.
Your email address will not be published, shared, released, or sold.
