DCCWiki, a community DCC encyclopedia.
I think we might be going a bit overboard here... what difference is it to DCC usage if someone has their layout in the garage, basement, attic, or elsewhere in the home? I think "Home" "Club", and "Modular" pretty much say it all there. And as far as power source goes... if it isn't through the rails, then by definition it isn't DCC. There _are_ some live steam locos that get electric power through the rails, and I have heard of them being modified for DCC control... but battery powered DCC?
