What is a DCCWiki shortcut?
"Shortcuts" in DCCWiki are a specialized type of redirection page that can be used to get to a DCCWiki reference page more quickly.
How to use DCCWiki shortcuts
A DCCWiki shortcut can be entered into the DCCWiki search box to quickly bring you to a reference page.
For example, you can type "H:R" into the search box pressing enter or clicking on the magnifying glass to get to the help page for "Redirect", instead of having to type "Help:Redirect".
Alternatively, you can use the shortcut in the URL (web address). For example, you are currently viewing the Help:Shortcut. The URL is http://dccwiki.com/Help:Shortcut
You could get from here to the Help:Redirect project reference page by replacing "Help:Shortcut" with "H:R" in the URL (web address) field (followed by "Enter").
Shortcuts are presented in all capital letters ("All-Caps"), but the search box is case-insensitive. For example, in the search box, you can type "h:r" instead of "H:R".
However, using the URL method typically requires that you match the capitalization of the shortcut.
