Reversing loops can be done in the classical way for command control. The phase is correct when the train enters the loop. While in the loop the phasing of the rails is reversed. Note that unlike conventional systems, it is possible to reverse the phasing of the reverse loop itself while the train is running in it - the locomotive will keep moving in the same direction.

For proper operation the reverse loop must be large enough to hold the entire train.

This is the opposite of what is done with Analog/DC operations, where the polarity of the main line must be reversed.
