Early 2023 test releases of JMRI (5.3.x) have incorporated support for the Expanded Slots feature.
In the LocoNet preferences, select the additional connection settings, and to enable the expanded slots set the XP (Expanded Protocol) to Auto Detect.
The upcoming release of JMRI 5.4 will also support the DS74 and SE74 devices from Digitrax.
