The wireless ProCab is similar to the wired version.

To turn on the throttle, press Emergency Stop.

The LCD will display the version, but the backlight will not be on. The version message will be displayed until the ProCab has been successful in establishing communications with the base station.

Once that process is complete the cab will operate in the same manner as a wired cab.

If the display does not update, press Enter to refresh the display.

To turn off the ProCab, press EXPN and select Option #1: Turn ProCab Off.

Automatic Power Down

The factory default is 10 minutes of inactivity which causes the ProCab to shut down. This can be changed to values of 2 to 20 minutes by pressing EXPN and selecting option #2 (Setup Radio). See the manual for complete details.

Layout ID can also be determined using the EXPN button and option #2. Press Enter to skip the Auto shutdown settings, then select the Layout ID.

The valid Layout IDs are 1 – 3. A value of 0 (zero) results in the throttle communicating with any base station within range. Setting the layout ID is necessary when multiple layouts using NCE wireless systems are within range, such as at an exhibition.
