The UTP is allows convenient walk-around connections to be distributed on a layout.
The UTP has four RJ-12 connectors wired in parallel. Two connectors on the back are used to for connections from the command station and additional UTPs. Two front panel connections connect throttles to the throttle network.
A metal panel is supplied to for mounting the UTP on edge of the layout of other convenient spot.
The Universal Throttle Panel is can be used with the NCE Cab Bus, Digitrax LocoNet, and Lenz XpressNet throttle networks.
