Short Answer: NO.

Longer Answer: Yes, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. Only one Zephyr is functioning as the command station
  2. The other Zephyr is configured to operate in Booster/Throttle Only mode
    1. This is done using Option Switches, consult the Zephyr manual
  3. The layout is split into two Booster Districts
    1. See the Power Management article for more detail

If additional power is required, adding an additional booster may be more cost effective. Additional throttles can be added via LocoNet if that is desired.
