If the Power Cab begins to boot up and suddenly the LCD display goes blank, this indicates that there is a short circuit.
If it occurs when using the Program Track, check the decoder wiring. If it occurs with no locomotives (electrical loads) on the track, disconnect track power at the Power Cab Panel and try again.
If the result is the same, there are two possibilities: A component failure has occurred in either the Power Cab or the Power Cab Panel.
