Modes

The LokPilot 5 micro DCC Direct Kato USA Widebody is a pure DCC decoder.

  • 14 to 128 speed steps
  • Primary and Extended addresses.
  • Up to 32 functions can be triggered.
  • Thanks to RailComPlus®, the decoders log on to a suitable DCC System fully automatically.
  • Auxiliary registers exist for DCC systems that can only program CVs from 1-255.
  • Recognizes the Märklin® braking sections as well as ZIMO® HLU / ZACK commands or the Lenz® ABC system.
    • An ABC automatic shuttle train enables automatic commuting between two stations.
  • Braking with DCC brake modules or with DC voltage is also possible.
  • It also stops with a Selectrix® brake diode.

Functions

Despite its compact dimensions, it is equipped with an enormous number of function outputs.

  • Two DIP LEDs (included in the box) can be adjusted in length and soldered directly, and can be controlled separately.
  • Eight more powered function outputs are available.
  • All important lighting functions are available.
  • The brightness of each output can be set separately.

Motor

The motor control features variable PWM pulse frequency from 10 to 50kHz, ensuring quiet operation, especially for coreless motors.

  • Load control can be adjusted with up to 10 separate CVs and thus will manage even the most difficult cases.
  • The unique “Auto Tune” function facilitates the automatic calibration of the decoder to perfectly * match the motor.
