History
This set was one of the first starter sets available from Digitrax and has long since been replaced by the Super Chief Xtra, which itself has been replaced by the Evolution Advanced (EVO), and finally that was replaced with the Evolution Express Advanced (EVOX).
Super Chief Starter Set
Although one of the first starter sets offered by Digitrax, it's features and capabilities were exceptional for the time. This starter set was replaced by the moderatly updated Super Chief Xtra.
The benefits of the Super Chief Xtra, the Xtra versions came with DT402's instead of the DT4002's. For radio editions, this allowed full duplex communications and doesn't require tethering for certain actions.
