Description

This throttle can operate wirelessly using infrared light in simplex mode, or duplex using radio. For infrared operations, a compatible infrared receiver such as the UR90, UR91, UR92 attached to the LocoNet throttle network is required. For duplex radio operations, a UR92 or 93 receiver is required. When operating wireless, the cord can be detached.

Among the many improvements over the UT4D throttle is how it's powered when operating wirelessly. Previous generations used a 9V battery, and no power switch. This version is powered by three AA cells, or an optional Digitrax BP600MH rechargeable battery. There is a power on/off switch, so no more flipping batteries around to save battery life.

The addition of the display screen additional features and better confirmation of status.

If radio operation is not required, see the UT6 lower-cost version. Radio is required for wireless operations outdoors as infrared will not work in sunlight.

Features

  • Screen is 1.5" LCD
  • Numeric keys to quickly selecting locomotives or turnouts.
  • Access 29 decoder functions
