Description
The UR92 is a duplex radio transceiver as well as an infrared receiver panel. This permits true wireless walkaround capabilities. When operating using duplex radio, there is no longer a need to plug in the throttle to select a locomotive. Digitrax duplex throttles end with the designation 'D', such as the UT6D.
The IR receiver on the UR92 also allows you to go wieless with your other Digitrax throttles that are factory equipped with infrared emitters.
Digitrax duplex radio (D) products are for use in the United States, Canada, Austraila and New Zealand. For EU, the DCE version is available. In Japan, Kato sells a Japanese approved version of the UR92.
This panel includes a Digitrax PS14 power supply.
Range
Digitax claims a range of up to 300 feet for radio operations and line of sight for infrared operations.
Firmware Updates
A USB to LocoNet device, such as the PR3 is required. This is not required if using a DCS240. Please see MFR website for full details.
